Usage and Maintenance of Building Formwork Appropriate maintenance and correct use of building formworks can not only extend the life span but also reduce a lot of unnecessary troubles for the construction project. So how can we extend the service life of building formworks? Ⅰ. The formwork must be covered during transportation. When transporting the building aluminium column formwork , it should be noted that a transport tool with a better shielding effect should be selected. Or it can be covered with plastic cloth or thin felt to avoid the sun and rain during transportation and prevent the building formwork from being severely deformed in a short time due to the natural environment. The visit and study of TECON Team at Construction Site

On the morning of June 13th,Friday, TECON team participated in a site visit and study activities under the organization of Edgar Tsing Chow. At 9:00 in the morning, the activities began. The director who in charge of the project demonstrated the overall design of the project through PPT. We learned that they use the pre-cast slabs and walls combined with traditional formworks. Then we went inside to see the building effects, and the types of formworks they were using. We found that the formwork consists of plywood, steel props and wooden beams. TECON formwork is closer to the European system. For example, our aluminum frame, plastic formwork, climbing formwork , protection screen, etc.. Already serve many projects all over the world.
